What it is:
A cosmetic and functional procedure that reshapes or reduces the size of the labia minora (inner lips) and, in some cases, the labia majora (outer lips).
Benefits:
Reduces discomfort from rubbing, irritation, or pulling during exercise, sex, or daily activities
Improves confidence in the appearance of the genital area
Helps clothes fit more comfortably (e.g., swimsuits, leggings, jeans)
Can improve symmetry and overall appearance between the labia
Who it’s for:
Women who are uncomfortable with the size, shape, or asymmetry of their labia, or experiencing physical discomfort.
What it is:
A surgical procedure that tightens the vaginal canal by repairing and tightening stretched muscles and supportive tissues—often due to childbirth, aging, or laxity.
Benefits:
Restores vaginal tightness and tone
Enhances sexual sensation for the patient and partner
Can improve pelvic floor support
Helps with vaginal laxity that may cause decreased pleasure or a “loose” sensation
Who it’s for:
Women with vaginal laxity after childbirth, aging, or trauma who want improved function and sensation.
What it is:
A non-surgical, radiofrequency treatment designed to gently heat tissue to improve vaginal and vulvar tightness, elasticity, and overall feminine wellness.
Benefits:
Improves vaginal laxity and enhances tightness
Increases natural lubrication and reduces dryness
Can improve mild urinary leakage
Enhances sensitivity and sexual satisfaction
Smooths and firms external tissue for a more youthful appearance
Who it’s for:
Women experiencing vaginal laxity, dryness, mild urinary incontinence, or changes due to aging, childbirth, or hormonal shifts who want a non-invasive treatment option.

Although both procedures fall under cosmetic gynecology, they address different concerns:

Labiaplasty focuses on the external tissues (labia) to improve comfort and appearance.
Vaginoplasty focuses on the internal vaginal canal, tightening muscles and tissues to improve function and sensation.
Labiaplasty is often chosen for aesthetic concerns or physical irritation, while vaginoplasty is chosen for sexual function and internal tightening.
Together or separately, these procedures can boost comfort, confidence, and quality of life—but they target two very different areas and goals.
At GYN Solutions & Aesthetics, we are focused on just that: SOLUTIONS and AESTHETICS. If you think cosmetic gynecology is something that would help you in your life, book a private consultation with Dr. Leslie Bender, and together you can find the plan that is best suited to your unique needs.

Most patients return to light activities within a few days.
* Labiaplasty: swelling and tenderness improve within 1–2 weeks; full healing occurs around 6–8 weeks.
* Vaginoplasty: internal healing takes longer, with most patients returning to normal activities at 4–6 weeks and full healing at 8–12 weeks.
Both procedures are designed to improve comfort and sexual confidence.
* Labiaplasty may reduce physical irritation.
* Vaginoplasty aims to enhance tightness and sensation.
Patients can resume sexual activity once fully healed. Dr. Bender will be able to discuss timelines with you during your private consultation and aftercare follow ups.
Results are long-lasting. Labiaplasty results typically remain stable, while vaginoplasty results can last for years but may change due to childbirth, aging, or hormonal changes.
Patients are kept comfortable with anesthesia during surgery.
Afterward:
* Labiaplasty may feel sore or swollen for a few days.
* Vaginoplasty may involve deeper muscle soreness.
Pain is manageable with prescribed medications and careful aftercare.
You may be a good candidate if you experience physical discomfort, self-consciousness about the appearance of the labia, or a feeling of vaginal laxity after childbirth or aging. A consultation helps determine which procedure—labiaplasty, vaginoplasty, or both—best matches your goals.
Labiaplasty scars are minimal and usually hidden within the natural folds of the tissue. Vaginoplasty involves internal sutures, so scars are not visible externally. Over time, both typically heal very discreetly.
Yes. Many patients choose to combine labiaplasty and vaginoplasty during the same surgical session to address both internal and external concerns at once. This can reduce overall downtime and provide more comprehensive results.
